School Story
I studied Mass Communications at UMsL and Theatre Arts at Fontbonne College after college I got in at the bottom floor of cable television in 1980 and was in the industry for 18 years working on television productions, producing, hosting, writing and distribution. While there I earned
3 Emmy nominations and won my first local Emmy in 1983. Nominated again in 1984 and 1985. While doing the television show I was still doing stand up on the weekends and appearing all over the country. While on vacation I was in Hawaii I met Freddie Morris who was a great entertainer and we became friends . He asked me to get up and perform one night and it became a 16 year friendship before he died. He introduced
Me to many people including Don Ho. Don liked what I did on stage and he brought me to Hawaii. I loved that place and the life. For 16 years I experience paradise. As my family was getting older I came home and today I care for my older brother Joe. He is mentally challenged. Yes, he is the smarter of the two. I quit stand up in 2005 and work in sales. I hope to retire in 2022 and return to paradise a few times and a greater dream retire there. Life is good and GOD has taken care of me. Everything good in my life has come from him.
